Positive Futures :
Positive Futures offers opportunities to people with learning disabilities to lead full and valued lives.
As part of its endeavour to provide a professional creative and imaginative service for young people who require help and advice with certain aspects of their lives, Positive Futures has engaged KIC to facilitate summer drama programmes for the past 4 years.
In 2006 KIC will be recruiting teenage volunteers from the Lisburn area to work with 5 young people from Positive Futures in the making of an original theatrical production to be staged at The Island Arts Centre, Lisburn in September. This will be a further demonstration of KIC physical theatre skills providing a platform for learning disabled young people to celebrate the creativity in us all.
