KIC
Drama Training - KIC is one of Ireland's foremost professional
theatre companies making theatre with children and teenagers.
The company is reknowned for highly professional and original
theatrical productions and for uniquely disciplined and creative
drama training programmes. There is no selection or audition for
any KIC programmes. Beginners are given time to show their energy
and enthusiasm. They will know if they should stay or go. See Core Training page for more details
Island Youth Theatre - has evolved as an 'inclusive' youth theatre
project that offers drama training for young people from an extraordinarily
wide spectrum of ability, social, educational and religious backgrounds.
The project is based in Lisburn and is open to young people in
the 13-17 year age band throughout the borough and beyond. See Outreach page for more details
Peninsula Children's Theatre Project - is an independent organisation
that has evolved from the creative arts partnership between Strangford
Integrated College and the KIC Project that produced a an innovative
approach to 'out of school hours learning' and original children's
theatre productions. The project is open to children in the age
band 11-13 years from the Ards and North Down boroughs. See Outreach page for more details
The North Belfast Youth Theatre Project - is for teenagers from North Belfast and beyond. The project is based at Hazelwood Integrated College and recruits from neighbouring communities. See Outreach page for more details
